Hard time getting going

This morning I go to wake up ds R, and he's not wanting to wake up. Took me a few extra times of getting his attention before he signaled that he was awake. Guess he needs to go to bed earlier. It's amazing how on days when he doesn't have seminary, he's awake as early as 4am. lol Guess it's the motivation of using the computer that wakes him lol.

Well today is another busy Tues. Take dh to work, then get ourselves ready for the school day. Then around noon take S to her art class while N tags along. R stays home and continues working on school assignments. We then come home in time for a quick lunch and back to art AND gym for N & R. We're there for about 2 hrs. Then home for a bit and N or R showers, then off to pick up dh. Back home and the other one showers and dinner. Then off to the church for activities for R & N. S tags along with mommy and dad. Then we arrive home around 8:30 or 9 exhausted. Thank goodness for days at home.

Well one of my friends who has been getting less and less hrs at work, finally found a new job! She was so super excited that she called me right away. I'm so happy for her. She's a single mom with a car that barely works. And with this yrs winter snow storms we've had, she has struggled to keep it going. Her ds is in high school and thankfully a strong boy so he's been able to assist her in some instances. And at least this job is still in town so she won't have to drive too far. I'm so happy for her, she's really needed some good news with jobs.

Anther friend of mine will be moving in a few weeks, and she's a bit over 3 months preg. She's trying to be so careful due to some other miscarriages. This one seems to be hanging on, so my continued prayers are with her. I'll probably be going over to help clean one of the houses during the move. I'll be taking the kids, of course, and I"m sure they'll be thrilled....NOT! Oh well, service never hurt anyone.

It's also tax time, and dh has spent the last several evenings getting our taxes done online. So much fun. I also discovered that state taxes are about 3x more than the federal ones. Apparently our state is known for high taxes. If I were the governer, I would be ashamed to have a state known as that. Of course, a lot of politicians seem to think the more $$ we give them, the more they can do(yeah for themselves).

Well, I'm going to end on a positive note. Weather wise we're finally having some nice days. Yesterday, by mid afternoon we were able to go outside with NO COAT OR JACKET!! Sunshine and green grass. Some flowers here and there. So nice to see finally. Spring is here!!
