It's Tues...again

You know, as I get older(not old, mind you lol) but older, I see time flying by. I've always known that it goes by fast, but I'm definitely seeing it fly by at times. I think R is also seeing that, because he has made comments about how it was just one day, and now it's another. I told him it only goes by faster. The reason I bring that up, is it seems like it was just Fri and we were on our frield trip, now it's Tues., and we've started a new week again. Just too darn fast.

It's also spring and the temp are trying really hard to show it. Over the weekend it was high 60's and no sweater or jacket weather. The girls wanted their bikes down, so down they came out of the garage. The flowers are really popping out of the ground. The grasses are still a bit brown, and the fall leaves from last yr still need to be gathered by the city, but otherwise it's spring. I was finally able to put my lawn decorations in the ground Sat as well.

One thing I've been meaning to do for awhile, and just finally started doing it, is having the kids write to their grandma twice a month. Since they've finally gotten to know her better, I thought it would be nice for her to get messages once in awhile. We finally wrote letters last Thurs, but due to not having her new address, I didn't get them out until Sat. That's ok, it'll give her something to read later on this week.

Last night, just before I logged, I received an email from my brother stating the insurance company received all our letters, so the next step is having their lawyer draw up a statement for my aunt to sign in representing my mom. Boy this process has been long. I know my brother will be glad when all is taken care of. We still owe the morturary.

Well that's about all I have for now. I'm glad my friend found this blog that I had started last summer. This has been nice to write down my thoughts, or my travel log. I had been telling my kids they needed to do their journal, but I wasn't. So now R does his online, and N does hers in a notebook. S is still a bit young, but she has one started if she ever wants to continue.
