Loooong Night

It seems, lately, that my oldest dd N keeps asking me each night(since the end of March) if there's going to be a stom that night. I always say "its not warm enough yet". Well last night she asks me again and I say "not that I know of". Well sometime around 1 or 2 or 3am she climbed into bed hearing thunder. Ok, that was fine. Then around 4 my youngest dd S decides she hears it also and needs mommy. So thankfully we have a king size bed because as it was, we were crowded. Both my girls sleep very rough. So dh and I are constantly getting pushed, kicked or whatever all night. I checked the clock around 4:45am and was about to put the girls in their own bed, but just decided to climb back into bed and try and snooze for 50 min. Ended up waking around 5:15 so I just decided it was time. I'm normally up on week days around 5:30am R's seminary class. Thankfully the storm has ended so the girls are back to sleep.

Today is going to be a busy day. We have a science fair to attend at the local library, so we'll head to that for the next 2hrs. Come home and get busy with R's Eagle Scout Project. He needs to staple some flyers to about 200 plastic bags that will be announcing that he's collecting books and such for the local library. Then we're off to get dh from work, the dropping R at his scout masters house for a weekend campout. R loves these. He didn't used to when he first entered in, but the scout master is so nice to R that it makes it worth while.

Sat will be cleaning up and possibly making some cupcakes for the scouts when they come over to do the scout project. I'm just hoping the weather works out. Supposedly more thunderstorms today, but at least it will be daylight and the girls won't freak out as much.

Last night we went to Sam's Club to pick up groceries and get the bags for the scout project. S was very active and kept wanting to climb on the cart, then hop off, then back on etc... Dh was getting a big frustrated since it meant the cart was somewhat heavy. R finally put her on his shoulders and carried her a bit that way. She loved it! That helped a lot.
